Create an e-invoice
Create a one-off e-invoice from a form and download the validated file. No accounting software needed. One credit per invoice.
In short
Fill in one form and get an e-invoice checked against the selected rules, for the few you send a year. Free preview, then 1 credit (€4.99).
Klarbon's Make tool creates a single e-invoice from a form: enter your details, your customer's, the lines and the payment terms, choose the format, and download a file that has passed validation. It writes XRechnung, ZUGFeRD, Factur-X, Peppol BIS, UBL and CII, for one credit per invoice. It is for occasional invoices, not a replacement for invoicing software.
How do I create an e-invoice?
- Choose the format your customer asks for. If a field the format requires is missing, the check says so before you pay.
- Enter the seller and buyer: names, addresses, VAT numbers and, where needed, the buyer reference or Leitweg-ID.
- Add the lines: description, quantity, unit, price and VAT rate. Klarbon calculates the totals.
- Add the payment details: due date, IBAN and any payment reference.
- Validate and download. Klarbon writes the file and checks it against EN 16931 and the format's rules. The preview is free; one credit unlocks the download.
Which format should I choose?
| What the recipient requests | Format |
|---|---|
| XRechnung for a German public-sector portal | XRechnung, with its required buyer reference |
| A hybrid PDF for a German business | ZUGFeRD, in the profile it accepts |
| Factur-X through a French business's approved platform | Factur-X |
| Peppol BIS Billing through an access point | Peppol BIS Billing |
| UBL in a specification they name | UBL, if that specification is supported |
ZUGFeRD and Factur-X are PDFs with the XML inside, readable by people and software. XRechnung, Peppol BIS and UBL are XML files, read by software or a viewer.
Who is this for?
People who send a few e-invoices a year: a freelancer with one public-sector customer, a club that invoices a municipality, a small business whose largest customer now asks for e-invoices. If you send invoices every week, invoicing or accounting software that writes e-invoices saves you typing.
What does Klarbon not do?
Klarbon keeps no customer list, no invoice numbering and no archive. You choose the invoice number, follow your own numbering, and keep the downloaded file as long as your tax rules require. Klarbon does not send the invoice and does not give tax advice on VAT treatment; ask your tax adviser if you are unsure which VAT rate or exemption applies.
What happens to the data I enter?
It is processed on Klarbon's servers to write and validate the file, then deleted. See what happens to my files.
What does it cost?
One credit per invoice: EUR 4.99 including VAT, or less in packs of ten or fifty. Filling the form and the validated preview are free. A new account includes one welcome credit. See prices.
