In short

Fill in one form and get an e-invoice checked against the selected rules, for the few you send a year. Free preview, then 1 credit (€4.99).

Klarbon creates Factur-X from a form: enter the invoice details and download a PDF/A-3 with CII XML embedded, validated against EN 16931 and the Factur-X profile before you pay. Your customer can read the PDF, and software that supports Factur-X can read the embedded data. One credit per invoice. Klarbon is not an approved platform and does not send it.

How do I create a Factur-X invoice?

  1. Enter the seller: name, address, SIREN and VAT number, and a contact.
  2. Enter the buyer, with their SIREN if they are a French company, and any reference they gave you.
  3. Add the lines: description, quantity, unit, price and VAT rate. Klarbon calculates the totals.
  4. Add the payment details: IBAN, due date and payment terms.
  5. Validate and download. Klarbon draws the readable page, embeds the XML in a PDF/A-3 file and checks it. One credit unlocks the download.

Which profile does it use?

EN 16931, the profile that carries a complete invoice with lines. Factur-X is published by FNFE-MPE with the German FeRD and is technically the same format as ZUGFeRD 2 (FNFE-MPE). The French reform accepts Factur-X alongside UBL and CII (impots.gouv.fr). More in what is Factur-X.

How do I send it?

To a French business, through your approved platform once the reform applies to you; see the French guide. For a French public body or a customer elsewhere, confirm the format, profile and submission route that recipient requires. Klarbon does not transmit invoices or keep an archive.

What does Klarbon not do?

It keeps no customer list, numbering or archive. You choose the invoice number and keep the file. Klarbon does not give tax advice on VAT rates or mentions; ask your accountant if unsure.

What happens to the data I enter?

It is processed on Klarbon's servers to write and validate the file, then deleted. See what happens to my files.

What does it cost?

One credit per invoice: EUR 4.99 including VAT, ten for EUR 29, fifty for EUR 99. The form and the validated preview are free. See prices.

Frequently asked questions

How do I create a Factur-X invoice?

Fill in Klarbon's form with your details, your customer's, the lines and the payment details. Klarbon draws the PDF, embeds the CII XML, validates both and lets you download the file for one credit.

Which Factur-X profile does Klarbon create?

EN 16931 by default, the full invoice with lines.

Can I send a Factur-X created with Klarbon to a French business?

You can create the file. When your invoice is within the French reform's scope and the issuing obligation applies to you, use an approved platform. Confirm that it accepts your file's version and profile; Klarbon is not an approved platform.

Do I need a SIREN number on the invoice?

French invoices identify French companies by SIREN, and the French specifications use it. Enter yours and your customer's if they are French companies.
