What it means
The rule checks the delivery block of each invoice line. It must not contain a GrossWeightMeasure, the weight of the goods including packaging. EN 16931 has no weight field.
Why it matters
The invoice is not rejected, because this is only a warning. The recipient's software does not read weights, so the figure is likely to be dropped on import. Freight or customs staff cannot rely on it being there.
How to fix it
Disable weight output in your invoicing software's e-invoice export. If the buyer needs it, add the weight as an item attribute (BG-32), with a name such as Gross weight and a value such as 3 kg. Alternatively mention it in the item description (BT-154).
