What it means
The rule checks the delivery block of each invoice line. It must not contain an IncludedSupplyChainPackaging element, which describes how the goods are packed. EN 16931 has no field for packaging.
Why it matters
This is only a warning, so the invoice is not rejected. The recipient's software does not read packaging data, so it is likely to be dropped. The information then reaches nobody in the buyer's organisation.
How to fix it
Disable packaging output in the export settings of your invoicing software. If the buyer needs to know how the goods are packed, put it in the item description (BT-154) or as an item attribute (BG-32). Keep the structured data to the fields the standard defines.
