What it means
The buyer's contact details contain a VOIPUniversalCommunication element, an internet phone address. EN 16931 gives the buyer contact only a name (BT-56), a telephone number (BT-57) and an email address (BT-58). The check fails as soon as the element is in the file, whatever it contains.
Why it matters
This is only a warning, so the file is still accepted. A VoIP address has no field in the EN 16931 data model, so the buyer's software will not read it into anything and it will probably be lost.
How to fix it
Check the buyer's contact on the customer record in your invoicing software and clear any internet phone field, or stop it being exported. Keep the normal phone number and email address. If you build the XML yourself, delete the VOIPUniversalCommunication element from the buyer's contact. It is worth fixing when your buyer or their platform checks files strictly.
