What it means

The extra legal information about the seller (Seller additional legal information, BT-33), such as the legal form or share capital, may be at most 1,000 characters long. The test counts the characters of that text, ignoring spaces at the start and end.

Why it matters

CIUS-RO limits this text to 1,000 characters and the rule is fatal. RO e-Factura rejects the file until you send a corrected one.

How to fix it

Open your company details in your invoicing software and find the legal information or footer text field. Keep only what the law requires, such as the legal form and share capital. The company registration number has its own field (BT-30), so it does not need to be repeated here, and long legal notices can go in an attachment.

The rule as published

Numarul maxim permis de caractere pentru Informatii juridice suplimentare despre Vanzator (BT-33)) este 1000. #The allowed maximum number of characters for the Seller additional legal (BT-33) is 1000.

Business terms: BT-33
