What it means
The invoice asks for payment (the amount due, BT-115, is more than zero) but gives neither a payment due date (BT-9) nor payment terms (BT-20).
Why it matters
The buyer needs to know when to pay. Without a date or terms the invoice is incomplete and is rejected.
How to fix it
Add the date payment is due, or payment terms in words such as "Payable within 30 days of the invoice date", or both.
The rule as published
In case the Amount due for payment (BT-115) is positive, either the Payment due date (BT-9) or the Payment terms (BT-20) shall be present. Business terms: BT-9, BT-20, BT-115
