BR-RO-L1007: Buyer address line 2 must be 100 characters or fewer

In short

Fatal: fails the selected checks.

BR-RO-L1007 means the second address line of the buyer (BT-51) is longer than 100 characters. Fix it by shortening that line to 100 characters or fewer and moving anything extra to the first or third address line.

What it means

The second address line of the buyer (BT-51) must not be longer than 100 characters. Extra spaces at either end and repeated spaces are ignored before counting. In UBL it is the AdditionalStreetName element in the buyer's postal address.

Why it matters

Romania's rules for RO e-Factura set this limit and a breach is fatal. The check fails and the file is rejected, so the invoice is not accepted until you correct it and send it again.

How to fix it

In your invoicing software, open the customer's record (the buyer) and look at the second address line. Cut notes, repeated text or a pasted full address down to what is needed, or split it between the first and third address lines. Then create the e-invoice again.

The rule as published

Numarul maxim permis de caractere pentru Adresa Cumparatorului - Linia 2 (BT-51) este 100. #The allowed maximum number of characters for the Buyer address line 2 (BT-51) is 100.

Business terms: BT-51
