What it means
The type code (ram:TypeCode) of a product characteristic (ram:ApplicableProductCharacteristic) on a line should be one value from the code list UNTDED 6313, plus the Factur-X extension of that list. The check fails when the field holds several codes, contains a space, or holds a value that is not in the list. This is a warning, not an error.
Why it matters
Product characteristics, such as colour, size or material, let the buyer's software sort and match articles without first agreeing a private code list. A code outside the standard list is not understood by other software, so the attribute may not be processed automatically. The invoice itself is not rejected.
How to fix it
Open the product attributes of the line in your invoicing or product data, where they may be called properties, features or characteristics. For each one, replace the type with a single code from UNTDED 6313, without spaces or extra text. If your software only offers free-text types, you can leave the warning, because the invoice is still accepted. It is worth fixing when the buyer processes the attributes automatically.
The rule as published
To ensure automated processing of the article attributes without bilateral reconciliation, only values from the code list UNTDED 6313+Factur-X-Extension should be used. Where this rule applies
| Rule set | Version |
|---|---|
| Factur-X 1.09 EXTENDED | 1.0.9-2 |
| ZUGFeRD 2.5 EXTENDED | 2.5.2 |
