BR-FR-CO-09_BT-23-1: An already-paid invoice must show the full amount as paid

In short

Fatal: fails the selected checks.

BR-FR-CO-09_BT-23-1 means an invoice in an already-paid framework (B2, S2 or M2) does not show its full total as paid. Fix it by setting the amount already paid (BT-113) to exactly the total with VAT (BT-112).

On this page

What it means

The invoicing framework (BT-23) is B2, S2 or M2, the frameworks for invoices that are already paid. For these the amount already paid (BT-113) must equal the invoice total with VAT (BT-112), to the cent. If no paid amount is given, the rule fails as well. The message shows both amounts.

Why it matters

An already-paid invoice tells the recipient that nothing is left to pay. If the paid amount differs from the total, the invoice is only partly paid and does not fit this framework, so the platform rejects it.

How to fix it

Enter the total with VAT in the prepaid or amount-already-paid field (BT-113) so that it matches BT-112 exactly. The amount due (BT-115) then becomes 0, which rule BR-FR-CO-09_BT-23-2 also checks. If the invoice is only partly paid, or not paid at all, it should not use B2, S2 or M2, so change the framework instead.

The rule as published

Si le cadre de facturation (BT-23) est B2, S2 ou M2 (facture déjà payée), alors le montant déjà payé (BT-113) doit être égal au montant total TTC (BT-112). Montant payé : … , Montant total : … .

Business terms: BT-23, BT-112, BT-113
