What it means
Every invoice line (BG-25) must contain the unit of measure of the quantity (BT-130). It is a code from UN/ECE Recommendation 20 or 21, for example C62 for pieces, HUR for hours or KGM for kilograms.
Why it matters
The buyer's software books and checks every line on its own, often against the purchase order. A line without this detail cannot be matched or posted, so the whole invoice is rejected.
How to fix it
Choose a unit for every line in your invoicing software, such as pieces, hours or kilograms, and export again. If you build the XML yourself, add the unitCode attribute to the quantity, for example unitCode="C62" for pieces or "HUR" for hours.
The rule as published
An Invoice line (BG-25) shall have an Invoiced quantity unit of measure code (BT-130). Business terms: BG-25, BT-130
