BR-24: Line net amount is required

In short

BR-24 means the line net amount (BT-131) is missing. Let your invoicing software calculate the line totals and export again.

On this page

What it means

Every invoice line (BG-25) must contain the line net amount (BT-131). It is the line total without VAT: quantity times net price, after discounts and charges on that line.

Why it matters

The buyer's software books and checks every line on its own, often against the purchase order. A line without this detail cannot be matched or posted, so the whole invoice is rejected.

How to fix it

Let your invoicing software calculate the line totals and export again. If you build the XML yourself, add cbc:LineExtensionAmount to every line (UBL) or ram:LineTotalAmount in each line's settlement (CII).

The rule as published

Each Invoice line (BG-25) shall have an Invoice line net amount (BT-131).
