An e-Arşiv Fatura is a Turkish electronic invoice for buyers who are not registered for e-Fatura, including consumers. It is usually UBL-TR XML with the scenario EARSIVFATURA, signed with a financial seal or qualified electronic signature. Unlike an e-Fatura, it does not travel through the Revenue Administration (GİB); the seller reports it to GİB in a daily e-Arşiv report. Klarbon plans to open e-Arşiv invoices; this is not available yet.

Frequently asked questions

What is an e-Arşiv Fatura?

An electronic invoice that a Turkish business issues to buyers who are not registered for e-Fatura, including consumers. It is created, kept, presented and reported electronically, and given to the buyer on paper or electronically as the buyer asks.

How is e-Arşiv reported to GİB?

Businesses and their private integrators send an e-Arşiv report to the Revenue Administration (GİB) for each day, by the end of the following day, signed with a financial seal or qualified electronic signature and time-stamped. Some invoice types must be reported at once.

Can the buyer receive an e-Arşiv invoice electronically or on paper?

Yes. GİB says delivery can be on paper or electronically at the buyer's request, while the issuer retains its electronic copy. A delivered visual copy and the signed electronic invoice data are not the same thing.

Who must issue invoices as e-Arşiv?

Businesses registered for e-Fatura use e-Arşiv for buyers outside e-Fatura. According to GİB, businesses outside both systems must issue their invoices as e-Arşiv through GİB's portal, until the end of 2025 above an amount set each year, and from 1 January 2026 regardless of the amount.
