Understanding Italian EN 16931 CIUS

CIUS-IT sets Italy's rules for EN 16931 invoices in UBL or CII sent through the Sistema di Interscambio. See the identifiers, file names and rules.

On this page

CIUS-IT is Italy's set of rules for EN 16931 invoices in UBL 2.1 or CII D16B that go to Italian public administrations through the Sistema di Interscambio (SdI). The SdI checks each file, translates it into FatturaPA, seals the translation and delivers it with the original. Invoices from Italian sellers also follow an Italian extension. The current technical rules are version 2.5. Klarbon support is planned, not available yet.
