What it means
The settlement details of an invoice line (SpecifiedLineTradeSettlement in the XML) should not contain a TotalAdjustmentAmount, an extra total for adjustments on the line. EN 16931 shows adjustments as individual line discounts (BG-27) and line charges (BG-28), and states the result as the line amount excluding VAT (BT-131).
Why it matters
This is a warning, so the file is not rejected. Totals are checked from the line amount excluding VAT and the individual discounts and charges, not from this figure, so it is usually ignored. It is worth fixing if your recipient wants a file without warnings, or if you want to be sure no one reads a second, unchecked total.
How to fix it
Remove the extra adjustment total from the lines. In your invoicing software that usually means switching the export to the EN 16931 profile instead of an extended one. Make sure each real discount or charge on a line is entered as its own discount or charge, with an amount and a reason. If you build the XML yourself, delete the TotalAdjustmentAmount element from the line's SpecifiedLineTradeSettlement.
