What it means

On each line (BG-25), the free-text note (Invoice line note, BT-127) may be at most 300 characters long. The test runs for every invoice line and every credit note line, ignoring spaces at the start and end.

Why it matters

CIUS-RO limits line notes to 300 characters and the rule is fatal. RO e-Factura rejects the whole file because of one long note on one line.

How to fix it

Open the line named in the error and cut its note to 300 characters or fewer. Keep the detail the buyer needs for that line and move longer explanations to an attachment. If the note is filled in automatically from a product or job record, shorten it at the source.

The rule as published

Numarul maxim permis de caractere pentru Nota liniei facturii (BT-127) este 300. #The allowed maximum number of characters for the Invoice line note (BT-127) is 300.
