BR-RO-L0304: Sales order number: 200 characters at most

In short

Fatal: fails the selected checks.

BR-RO-L0304 means the sales order number is longer than 200 characters. Fix it by entering only the order number from your own system, 200 characters or fewer.

What it means

The reference of your own sales order (Sales order reference, BT-14) may be at most 200 characters long. The test counts the characters of the sales order identifier, ignoring spaces at the start and end.

Why it matters

CIUS-RO caps this reference at 200 characters and the rule is fatal. RO e-Factura rejects the file, so it is not accepted as an e-invoice until you send a corrected one.

How to fix it

Find the sales order number or order confirmation number in your invoicing software. It should hold a short identifier, not a description or a list of text. If a long text was pasted in, replace it with the order number alone.

The rule as published

Numarul maxim permis de caractere pentru Referinta dispozitiei de vanzare (BT-14) este 200. #The allowed maximum number of characters for the Sales order reference (BT-14) is 200.

Business terms: BT-14
