What it means
The reference of the receiving advice (Receiving advice reference, BT-15), the document that records the goods were received, may be at most 200 characters long. The test counts the characters of the identifier, ignoring spaces at the start and end.
Why it matters
CIUS-RO limits this reference to 200 characters and the rule is fatal. RO e-Factura rejects the file, so the buyer does not get a valid e-invoice until you send a corrected one.
How to fix it
Find the goods received or receiving advice reference in your invoicing software. Keep only the document number the buyer gave you. If you do not have a receiving advice, leave the field empty rather than filling it with free text.
The rule as published
Numarul maxim permis de caractere pentru Referinta avizului de receptie (BT-15) este 200. #The allowed maximum number of characters for the Receiving advice reference (BT-15) is 200. Business terms: BT-15
