Fatal

BR-RO-L152: Buyer address line 1 must be 150 characters or fewer

In short

Fatal: fails the selected checks.

BR-RO-L152 means the first line of the buyer's address (BT-50) is longer than 150 characters. Fix it by keeping only the street and number on that line and moving everything else into the other address fields.

What it means

The first address line of the buyer (BT-50), usually the street and number, may be at most 150 characters in the Romanian rule set for RO e-Factura (CIUS-RO). In the UBL file this is StreetName in the buyer's postal address. Leading and trailing spaces are ignored and repeated spaces count once.

Why it matters

The buyer's address says who the invoice is addressed to. This is a fatal rule, so RO e-Factura rejects the invoice and you have to send a corrected file.

How to fix it

Open the customer's record in your invoicing software and look at the address fields. A line this long usually means the whole address, or a note, was pasted into the street field. Keep the street and number there, put building, floor or flat details in the second address line (BT-51) if you need them, and enter the city and post code in their own fields.

The rule as published

Numarul maxim permis de caractere pentru Adresa Cumparatorului - Linia 1 (BT-50) este 150. #The allowed maximum number of characters for the Buyer address line 1 (BT-50) is 150.

Business terms: BT-50
