Fatal

BR-RO-L154: Delivery address line 1 must be 150 characters or fewer

In short

Fatal: fails the selected checks.

BR-RO-L154 means the first line of the delivery address (BT-75) is longer than 150 characters. Fix it by keeping only the street and number on that line and moving everything else into the other address fields.

What it means

The first line of the address where the goods or services are delivered (BT-75), usually the street and number, may be at most 150 characters in the Romanian rule set for RO e-Factura (CIUS-RO). In the UBL file this is StreetName in the address of the delivery location. Leading and trailing spaces are ignored and repeated spaces count once.

Why it matters

The delivery address says where the goods or services went when that differs from the buyer's address. This is a fatal rule, so RO e-Factura rejects the invoice and you have to send a corrected file.

How to fix it

In your invoicing software, open the delivery address of the invoice or of the customer. A line this long usually means delivery instructions or the whole address were typed into the street field. Keep the street and number there, move extra details to the second address line (BT-76) and enter the city and post code in their own fields.

The rule as published

Numarul maxim permis de caractere pentru Adresa de livrare - Linia(BT-75) 1 este 150. #The allowed maximum number of characters for the Deliver to address line 1(BT-75) is 150.

Business terms: BT-75
