On this page

What it means

A line can carry extra properties of an item as a name and a value, such as Colour and Blue. The name of such a property (Item attribute name, BT-160) may be at most 50 characters long. This rule checks the name only, not the value. Spaces at the start and end are ignored.

Why it matters

CIUS-RO limits the attribute name to 50 characters and the rule is fatal. RO e-Factura rejects the file, and one long name on one line is enough to cause it.

How to fix it

Open the line that carries the item properties and look at the attribute names, which may be called properties, characteristics or specifications. Shorten any name over 50 characters to a short label, such as Colour or Size. Put the detail in the value or in the item description.

The rule as published

Numarul maxim permis de caractere pentru Numele atributului articolului (BT-160) este 50. #The allowed maximum number of characters for the Item attribute name (BT-160) is 50.

Business terms: BT-160
