BR-DE-CVD-06-A: A CVD vehicle line needs exactly one cva attribute

In short

Fatal: fails the selected checks.

BR-DE-CVD-06-A means a line with a CVD vehicle category has no cva item attribute, or has more than one. Fix it by giving that line exactly one attribute named cva.

On this page

What it means

On a CVD invoice, every invoice line whose item classification identifier (BT-158) has the scheme CVD must contain exactly one item attribute named cva (BT-160). No cva attribute fails, and two or more fail as well. The rule applies only to CVD invoices.

Why it matters

Each vehicle line has to state its emission level once. With none, or with several that may disagree, the buyer cannot report the line, so the invoice is rejected.

How to fix it

On each line with a CVD vehicle category, add the cva attribute if it is missing, or delete the duplicates if there are several. Then set its value to clean, zero-emission or other, which BR-DE-CVD-05 checks.

The rule as published

Business terms: BT-158, BT-160
