BR-DE-CVD-06-B: A cva attribute needs exactly one CVD category on the line

In short

Fatal: fails the selected checks.

BR-DE-CVD-06-B means a line has a cva item attribute but not exactly one vehicle category code with the scheme CVD. Fix it by giving that line one CVD category code, or by removing the cva attribute if the line is not a vehicle line.

On this page

What it means

On a CVD invoice, every invoice line with an item attribute named cva (BT-160) must also contain exactly one item classification identifier (BT-158) with the scheme CVD. No CVD code fails, and two or more fail as well. The rule applies only to CVD invoices.

Why it matters

An emission level with no vehicle category, or with several categories, cannot be reported for one vehicle line. The buyer cannot use the line, so the invoice is rejected.

How to fix it

On that line, add the classification code with the scheme CVD and the vehicle category (M1, M2, M3, N1, N2 or N3), or delete the extra ones if there are several. If the line is not a vehicle line, remove the cva attribute from it.

The rule as published

Wenn "Item attribute name" (BT-160) mit dem Wert 'cva' angegeben ist, muss in derselben Rechnungszeile genau ein "Item classification identifier" (BT-158) mit dem Scheme identifier 'CVD' vorhanden sein.

Business terms: BT-158, BT-160
