BR-RO-A051: An invoice can have at most 50 supporting documents

In short

Fatal: fails the selected checks.

BR-RO-A051 means the invoice has more than 50 additional supporting documents (BG-24), which is the most the Romanian rules allow. Fix it by removing the documents the buyer does not need, or by combining several into one attachment.

What it means

The invoice may contain no more than 50 additional supporting documents (BG-24). Each one is a reference to a document, such as a timesheet, a delivery note or a contract, with the file attached or a link to it. The published test looks at each reference one at a time, so it does not add them up the way the description does. The limit the rule describes is still 50 for the whole invoice, so stay at or under it.

Why it matters

The Romanian national rules for e-Factura cap the number of supporting documents on one invoice. An invoice that goes over the limit is rejected.

How to fix it

Find the attachments or documents section of the invoice in your invoicing software and count what is there. Remove anything the buyer does not need to book or pay the invoice. Combine related documents, such as several timesheets, into a single PDF and attach that instead of each one separately.

The rule as published

O factura trebuie sa contina maximum 50 de aparitii ale grupului Documente justificative suplimentare (BG-24). #The allowed maximum number of occurences of Additional supporting documents (BG-24) is 50
