What it means
The invoice contains a VAT point date (BT-7), the date on which VAT becomes due. The rule has no condition: it raises the warning whenever this field is used.
Why it matters
Nothing is rejected. The Dutch rule set says the value is ignored, so it changes nothing for the recipient.
How to fix it
It is worth fixing only if you want a file without warnings. In your invoicing software, clear the VAT point date or turn off the export option that adds it. If you want the buyer to see when the goods or services were supplied, give the delivery date (BT-72), which this warning does not cover.
The rule as published
The use of a tax point date (cbc:TaxPointDate) is not recommended, and its value will be ignored Where this rule applies
