What it means
Each normal invoice line (BG-25) must contain the item net price (BT-146), the price of one unit excluding VAT and after any discount on the item price. The check looks for the price amount in the net price part of the line. A line is normal when its subtype (BT-X-8) is DETAIL or not given.
Why it matters
The recipient checks each line by multiplying the quantity by the unit price. Without the price this cannot be done, and the invoice is rejected.
How to fix it
Open the line and fill in the unit price excluding VAT. If you only have a total for the line, divide it by the quantity to get the unit price. A free item still needs a price, entered as 0.
The rule as published
Each Invoice line (BG-25) shall contain the Item net price (BT-146) if the "Subtype of invoice line item" (BT-X-8) has the value "Normal line item (standard case)" (DETAIL) or is not specified. Business terms: BG-25, BT-146
