What it means
Each normal invoice line (BG-25) must state the quantity of goods or services invoiced (BT-129). A line is normal when its subtype (BT-X-8) is DETAIL or not given. The check looks for the billed quantity in the delivery part of the line.
Why it matters
Without a quantity the recipient cannot see what was delivered or check the line amount against the unit price. The invoice is rejected.
How to fix it
Open the line in your invoicing software and fill in the quantity. For a service, enter 1 or the number of hours or days. If the line is only a heading, a note or a subtotal label, it should not be a normal line, so move the text to a note or remove the line.
The rule as published
Each invoice line item "INVOICE LINE" (BG-25) must contain the quantity of goods or services invoiced in the relevant line item as a line item "Invoiced quantity" (BT-129) if the "Subtype of invoice line item" (BT-X-8) has the value "Normal line item (standard case)" (DETAIL) or is not specified. Business terms: BG-25, BT-129
