What it means
A line that is split into sub lines (XRechnung extension, BG-DEX-01) should have a net amount (BT-131) equal to the sum of the net amounts of the sub lines directly under it. The same applies to a sub line that has sub lines of its own. The comparison is exact, with no tolerance for rounding.
Why it matters
This is a warning, so the file is not rejected. A mismatch still means the line and its parts disagree. The sub lines are there to explain how the line amount is made up, and a recipient who adds them up gets a different figure and may query the invoice.
How to fix it
Add up the net amounts of the sub lines under the line and compare the result with the net amount of the line. Correct whichever is wrong: a sub line amount (quantity times price, less any discount) or the amount of the line above it. If sub lines are nested, repeat this at each level.
The rule as published
Business terms: BG-25, BT-131
