What it means
Every invoice must contain the country code in the buyer's address (BT-55). It is the two-letter ISO 3166 code of the customer's country.
Why it matters
VAT law requires an invoice to identify both parties, and the recipient's software uses these details to match the invoice to a supplier or customer. An invoice that fails this rule is rejected as incomplete.
How to fix it
Select the customer's country on the customer record in your invoicing software and export again. In the XML it is the two-letter code in the buyer's cac:Country/cbc:IdentificationCode (UBL) or ram:CountryID (CII).
The rule as published
The Buyer postal address shall contain a Buyer country code (BT-55). Business terms: BT-55
