Understanding Lithuanian SABIS e-invoice

SABIS carries suppliers' e-invoices to Lithuanian public bodies by portal, interface or Peppol. See how it differs from i.SAF reporting.

On this page

SABIS is the Lithuanian public sector's shared invoice system, run by the National Shared Services Centre (NBFC). Since 1 July 2024 it has replaced E. sąskaita, and suppliers to public bodies must send their electronic invoices through it, by portal, by its own interface or over Peppol, following the European standard EN 16931. It is separate from i.SAF reporting of VAT invoice registers. Klarbon support is planned, not available yet.
