Understanding Albanian fiscalisation invoice

Albanian fiscalisation sends signed SOAP XML invoices to the Central Invoice System. Read about the IIC and FIC codes and e-invoice standards.

On this page

Albanian fiscalisation registers covered invoices in the Central Invoice System (CIS) of the General Directorate of Taxes under Law 87/2019. Certified software signs a SOAP XML message, adds an Invoice Identification Code (IIC) and receives a Fiscal Identification Code (FIC). Both codes and a QR code are printed on the invoice. B2B electronic invoices follow EN 16931 in UBL or CII. Klarbon support is planned, not available yet.
