What it means
In Peppol BIS the invoice line net amount (BT-131) should equal the invoiced quantity (BT-129) times the item net price (BT-146) divided by the price base quantity (BT-149), plus the line's charges and minus its discounts, rounded to two decimals.
Why it matters
This is a warning in Peppol BIS 3.0, so the invoice is still delivered. It is worth fixing, because the buyer's software may calculate a different line amount and query the invoice.
How to fix it
Let your invoicing software calculate the line amount, or correct the quantity, price, price base quantity or line discount so they agree. Common causes are a price per 100 units without a base quantity of 100, a discount included in both the price and as a line discount, or the price rounded to two decimals before multiplying.
The rule as published
Invoice line net amount MUST equal (Invoiced quantity * (Item net price/item price base quantity) + Sum of invoice line charge amount - sum of invoice line allowance amount Where this rule applies
