What it means
In a CII file, the seller's contact telephone (BT-42) sits in TelephoneUniversalCommunication. This rule warns when that block also has a ChannelCode, a code for the kind of channel, such as telephone. The standard only reads the number itself.
Why it matters
This is a warning, so the invoice is still accepted. Because the block is already the telephone block, the buyer's software has no use for the extra code and will normally ignore it.
How to fix it
Delete the ChannelCode from the seller contact's telephone block, or ask the supplier of your invoicing software to stop exporting it. The phone number in CompleteNumber stays as it is. It is worth fixing when you want a clean check result.
