Warning

CII-SR-111: Do not put a demand forecast reference on an invoice line

In short

Warning: worth checking.

CII-SR-111 means an invoice line refers to a demand forecast, which EN 16931 does not use. Remove the reference from the line; the file is still accepted.

On this page

What it means

An invoice line (BG-25) contains a DemandForecastReferencedDocument in its trade agreement block (SpecifiedLineTradeAgreement). This is a reference to a forecast document that the line relates to.

Why it matters

The invoice standard has no field for a forecast reference, so the recipient does not use it. This is a warning and the invoice is still accepted. Fixing it mainly gives you a clean check result.

How to fix it

Remove the forecast reference from each line. Software that writes the fuller Extended profile of ZUGFeRD or Factur-X may include references like this one, so export the EN 16931 profile instead. If the buyer needs the reference, put it in an invoice note.
