BR-FR-CO-09_BT-23-3: An already-paid invoice needs a due date

In short

Fatal: fails the selected checks.

BR-FR-CO-09_BT-23-3 means an invoice in an already-paid framework (B2, S2 or M2) has no payment due date (BT-9). Fix it by entering the date the payment was made as the due date.

On this page

What it means

The invoicing framework (BT-23) is B2, S2 or M2, the frameworks for invoices that are already paid. For these the payment due date (BT-9) must be filled in. The official text adds that it should be the date of payment, but the check itself only tests that a due date is present.

Why it matters

For an already-paid invoice the date tells the recipient when the money was received. Without it the platform cannot process the invoice as paid and rejects it.

How to fix it

Enter the date on which the invoice was paid in the due date field (BT-9, often shown as the payment due date). Rule BR-FR-CO-07_BT-9 does not apply to these frameworks, so a date earlier than the invoice date is allowed here.

The rule as published

Si le cadre de facturation (BT-23) est B2, S2 ou M2, alors la date d’échéance (BT-9) doit être renseignée et correspondre à la date de paiement. Date d’échéance actuelle : … .

Business terms: BT-9, BT-23
