What it means
The invoice must have a buyer electronic address (BT-49, the cbc:EndpointID of the buyer in UBL), and it cannot be empty or contain only spaces. The rule only checks that a value is there. It does not check that the address exists. The error message shows the value that was found.
Why it matters
The electronic address tells the network where to deliver the invoice. Without it the platform has nowhere to send the invoice to, so it is rejected.
How to fix it
Find the field called electronic address, e-invoice address, endpoint or routing address on the customer record, or in the buyer section of the invoice, and fill it in. Ask your customer for it, or look it up in the directory of their invoicing platform. Most software also asks for the scheme of the address next to it, so fill that in too.
The rule as published
Le BT-49 (cbc:EndpointID) est obligatoire. Valeur actuelle : BT-49=" … ". Business terms: BT-49
