On this page

What it means

A discount on one invoice line has an amount (BT-136) with more than two digits after the decimal point. Digits are counted as written in the file, so 4.250 fails even though it equals 4.25. Discounts on the whole invoice are checked by BR-DEC-RO-01. It covers invoice lines and credit note lines.

Why it matters

The line discount is taken off the line amount. The Romanian CIUS-RO rules count more than two decimals as a fatal error, so the file is rejected.

How to fix it

On the line named in the error, round the discount amount to two decimals. A percentage discount applied to a price with several decimals can easily give a long figure, so check the result of that calculation. In the XML it is the Amount of the AllowanceCharge inside the InvoiceLine (or CreditNoteLine), with ChargeIndicator set to false. Afterwards check that the line amount (BT-131) still matches.

The rule as published

Numarul maxim permis de zecimale pentru Valoarea deducerii la linia facturii (BT-136) este 2. #The allowed maximum number of decimals for the Invoice line allowance amount (BT-136) is 2.

Business terms: BT-136
