BR-DEC-RO-25: Base amount of a line discount: two decimals at most

In short

Fatal: fails the selected checks.

BR-DEC-RO-25 means the base amount of a discount on an invoice line (BT-137), the figure the discount is worked out from, has more than two decimals. Fix it on that line by rounding the base amount to two decimals, or leaving it out if you do not use it.

What it means

A discount on one invoice line states the base amount it is calculated from (BT-137), for example the amount a percentage is applied to, and that figure has more than two digits after the decimal point. Digits are counted as written in the file, so 80.000 fails even though it equals 80. The check only applies when a base amount is given.

Why it matters

The Romanian CIUS-RO rules limit this amount to two decimals. A longer figure is a fatal error, so the file is rejected until you correct it.

How to fix it

On the line named in the error, round the discount base amount to two decimals. If you do not use a base amount, you can leave it out. In the XML it is the BaseAmount of the AllowanceCharge inside the InvoiceLine (or CreditNoteLine), with ChargeIndicator set to false. The discount amount itself (BT-136) has its own check, BR-DEC-RO-24.

The rule as published

Numarul maxim permis de zecimale pentru Valoarea de baza a deducerii la linia facturii (BT-137) este 2. #The allowed maximum number of decimals for the Invoice line allowance base amount (BT-137) is 2.
