What it means
The paid amount (BT-113), the sum already paid in advance of the amount on the invoice, is written with more than two digits after the decimal point. Digits are counted as written in the file, so 200.000 fails even though it equals 200. It applies to invoices and credit notes in the Romanian CIUS-RO format.
Why it matters
The paid amount is taken off the total with VAT to get the amount due. The Romanian CIUS-RO rules count more than two decimals as a fatal error, so the file is rejected.
How to fix it
Round the paid amount (an advance payment or deposit) to two decimals. Then check that the amount due for payment (BT-115) equals the total with VAT minus the paid amount, plus the rounding amount if there is one. In the XML it is the PrepaidAmount inside LegalMonetaryTotal.
The rule as published
Numarul maxim permis de zecimale pentru Suma platita (BT-113) este 2. #The allowed maximum number of decimals for the Paid amount(BT-113) is 2. Business terms: BT-113
