What it means
The seller contact's telephone number (BT-42) in an XRechnung should contain at least three digits. Placeholders such as "-", "n/a" or "none" do not count as a phone number.
Why it matters
This is a warning, so the invoice is still accepted. It is worth fixing, because German recipients use this information to process the invoice automatically, and a portal or buyer may ask you to correct it.
How to fix it
Enter a phone number the buyer can actually call in the company or sender settings of your invoicing software, for example your switchboard. Spaces, brackets and a leading + are fine.
The rule as published
In BT-42 sollen mindestens drei Ziffern enthalten sein. Business terms: BT-42
