What it means
A discount on the whole invoice has both a reason code (BT-98) and a reason in words (BT-97), and they describe different kinds of discount.
Why it matters
The recipient's system books the discount by its code. If the words say something else, nobody can be sure what the discount was for.
How to fix it
Make the reason text describe the same thing as the code (for example code 95 with the text "Discount"), or remove the one that is wrong.
The rule as published
Document level allowance reason code (BT-98) and Document level allowance reason (BT-97) shall indicate the same type of allowance. Business terms: BT-97, BT-98
