What it means
Every amount in a UBL invoice carries a currencyID attribute, and it must be a valid ISO 4217 code: three capital letters, such as EUR, USD or GBP. Symbols such as € or names such as Euro are not allowed.
Why it matters
Codes are read by software, not by people. A value outside the agreed code list cannot be interpreted, so the recipient's system rejects the invoice even when the value looks sensible to a person.
How to fix it
Set the invoice currency in your invoicing software to a proper currency, usually EUR, and export again. If you build the XML yourself, write currencyID="EUR" on every amount, never "€", "eur" or "Euro".
