What it means
An invoice or credit note can name the contract it relates to (BT-12) through cac:ContractDocumentReference, and EN 16931 uses only the identifier (cbc:ID) in it. This rule checks that there is no cbc:CopyIndicator, a true or false flag that would say whether the referenced contract document is a copy.
Why it matters
This is a warning, so the file is still accepted and can be sent. The recipient uses the contract number to link the invoice to the contract. The copy flag has no field in the standard, so it is normally ignored, and it is best removed.
How to fix it
Open the contract reference in your invoicing software and clear any copy or original setting stored with it. Keep the contract number and export the file again. If you build the XML yourself, delete cbc:CopyIndicator from cac:ContractDocumentReference and keep cbc:ID.
