What it means
The seller contact telephone number (BT-42) is written inside a wrapper element, ram:TelephoneUniversalCommunication, with the number itself in ram:CompleteNumber. When the wrapper is there, it must contain exactly one ram:CompleteNumber. The rule fails when the wrapper is empty or holds more than one number. It applies to the EN 16931 and Extended profiles.
Why it matters
An empty phone entry tells the buyer nothing, and two numbers leave the recipient's software with no way to pick one. The structure does not match the specification, so the invoice fails the check.
How to fix it
Open the seller or company contact details in your invoicing software and check the phone field. Enter one number, or clear the field so that nothing is written for it. Then export again. If you build the XML yourself, put one ram:CompleteNumber inside ram:TelephoneUniversalCommunication, or leave the whole element out.
