What it means
If the invoice has charges on the whole invoice (BG-21), such as delivery or packaging costs, the invoice totals show their sum (BT-108, ram:ChargeTotalAmount). It may be written at most once. The rule fails only when the element is repeated, not when it is missing.
Why it matters
The recipient adds the charges to the line total when it rebuilds the amount excluding VAT. Two figures leave it unclear which to add, so the file fails the structure check and is rejected.
How to fix it
This is normally a fault in the software that wrote the file, because the sum is calculated for you. Check the extra charges on the whole invoice in your invoicing software, make sure none is entered twice, then export again. If you build the XML yourself, write ram:ChargeTotalAmount at most once in the totals block.
