What it means
When the seller and the buyer both have an address in Germany, the invoice must contain the payment instructions group (BG-16). This group says how the buyer should pay: the payment means type code (BT-81) and, for a bank transfer, the account to pay into (BT-84). The rule only checks that the group is there.
Why it matters
The recipient's software reads the payment details to set up the payment. Without them it cannot tell how or where to pay, so the invoice is rejected.
How to fix it
In your invoicing software, open the payment settings or your bank details and make sure a payment method is chosen. For a normal bank transfer, choose SEPA bank transfer (code 58) and enter your IBAN as the account to pay into. If the buyer is not really in Germany, check the country in the buyer's address too, because that is what switches this rule on.
