What it means
In a CII file, the seller's contact (BG-6) is the DefinedTradeContact block. This rule warns when that block has a TypeCode, a code for the type of contact. EN 16931 only uses the contact name (BT-41), phone number (BT-42) and email address (BT-43) there.
Why it matters
The invoice is still accepted because this is a warning. The standard has no place for a contact type, so the buyer's software will normally skip it. It is worth removing if you want a clean check result.
How to fix it
Look for a contact type or role setting on the seller's contact in your invoicing software and switch off exporting it. If you edit the XML by hand, delete the TypeCode element inside the seller's DefinedTradeContact. Nothing needs to move to another field.
