What it means
The city of the place where the goods or services are delivered (Deliver to city, BT-77) may be at most 50 characters long. The test counts the characters of the city name, ignoring spaces at the start and end.
Why it matters
The delivery city says where the goods or services went. CIUS-RO limits it to 50 characters and the rule is fatal, so RO e-Factura rejects the file until you send a corrected one.
How to fix it
Open the delivery address on the invoice or the customer record and check the city field. It should hold the city or town name only, not the full address or delivery instructions. Put any instructions in the invoice note instead.
The rule as published
Numarul maxim permis de caractere pentru Localitatea de livrare (BT-77) este 50. #The allowed maximum number of characters for the Deliver to city (BT-77) is 50. Business terms: BT-77
