What it means
Each item attribute (BG-32) must have an attribute name (BT-160) or an attribute code (BT-X-11), or both. Item attributes are extra properties of the goods on a line, such as colour, size or material. The check looks for a description or a type code in the attribute.
Why it matters
A value such as Blue or 42 means nothing without the name of the property it belongs to. The recipient cannot read or process the attribute, and the invoice is rejected.
How to fix it
Open the line, find its list of attributes (often called characteristics, properties or specifications) and give each one a name such as Colour. If your software supports coded attributes, a code is also accepted. If an attribute carries no useful information, remove it.
