Fatal

BR-FR-29_BT-18: Invoice can carry only one AFL and one AVV object identifier

In short

Fatal: fails the selected checks.

BR-FR-29_BT-18 means the invoice repeats an invoiced object identifier: more than one with scheme AFL, or more than one with scheme AVV. Fix it by keeping a single AFL and a single AVV identifier.

On this page

What it means

Among the invoiced object identifiers (BT-18) of the whole invoice, scheme AFL may appear once and scheme AVV may appear once. Your file has more than one of at least one of them. Identifiers on invoice lines are checked separately, by BR-FR-30_BT-128.

Why it matters

The French platform expects one value per scheme and cannot tell which duplicate is right, so it rejects the invoice.

How to fix it

In the invoice header, look at the invoiced object references and delete the duplicates. Keep the correct AFL identifier and the correct AVV identifier. If your software adds these references itself, check that it is not adding the same one twice.

The rule as published

Business terms: BT-18
